A message from Principal Lewis

Good morning Ponus Ridge Families!

I hope you are well, safe, and healthy. Yes, we are "almost" there! Our first day of school is Monday, August 28th. We will have a full day of school (8 a.m. - 2:50pm). Bus transportation will be posted on the Norwalk Public Schools website in the coming weeks. Please see below for a generic list of school supplies for each grade.

Please know that students may be asked to bring additional items to school based on what a specific teacher and class requires.

• Reusable water bottle
• Index cards.

We are using a NEW parent communication platform called Parent Square. PLEASE sign up for this as I communicate primarily through email to families. This is important. Sign up at parentsquare.com/signin.

Important Dates:

Aug. 21st - Grade 6 Orientation- 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. (Breakfast and Lunch served)
Aug. 28th - First Day of School - 8 a.m. - 2:50 p.m. (Breakfast and Lunch Served). Students will eat lunch with their respective grade level peers
Sept. 4th - Labor Day -- NO SCHOOL
Sept. 6th -  Parent Information Night - 6:00pm
Sept. 13th - Back to School Night - 6:00pm
Sept. 15th - Back to School Dance - 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. ​
