Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy
Congratulations to our Ponus panther Dylan Adolfo Veliz Catalan on his winning Battle Bot design!
His design, along with that of winner Livia Brock from Concord Magnet School K–8, will be brought to life by the National Havoc Robot League (NHRL) —Robot Combat League.
They’ll also have the exciting opportunity to operate their own bots and compete in an elementary vs. middle school design showdown at an NHRL event on June 6.
This district-wide competition, led by our library media specialists, challenged elementary and middle school students to design their dream battle bot, complete with movement, fighting capabilities, and a creative name.
